Golf with an All Black

Wish the Rugby World Cup could last a bit longer? Concierge NZ has an exclusive experience for fans looking for something special – a round of golf with an All Black legend.

All his teammates from the 1980s and ‘90s rate ‘Smokin’ Joe Stanley’ as the best centre of their time… and he’s not bad with a golf club either.

Joe had 49 appearances for the All Blacks between 1986 and 1990, and played in 27 consecutive test matches.

And now you have the opportunity to combine your love of golf and rugby by walking the fairways of the Titirangi Golf Club with him.

Set in beautiful bushland between the Waitakere Ranges and Manukau Harbour, Titirangi Golf Club is rated as one of New Zealand’s top five courses. It is the only course in New Zealand designed by Alister MacKenzie, who also designed Augusta, Cypress Point and Royal Melbourne.

You can play one-on-one with Joe (or, if he is unavailable, another All Black legend of his era), or you can bring a couple of mates to enjoy the fun on the greens with you.

After the round of golf, you’ll retire to the club house to share some yarns over a few drinks. You never know, you might even get some inside stories on previous World Cup experiences.

Green fees and club hire are included in the package. Transport to and from Titirangi can be arranged.
